The Formosan Serow, one of Taiwan’s native animals, is known for its sensitive and slightly shy nature. Due to its close genetic relationship with antelopes, it is also referred to as the “Taiwan Antelope.” The Formosan Serow is a subspecies unique to Taiwan and was once a primary target for hunters. After extensive hunting, its population has significantly dwindled, making it a rare sight today.
