今年的百步蛇總算是千呼萬喚”蛇”出來了

每年的年底總是會接到很多忠實粉絲打電話來問候下一隻動物歸隊了沒有

咱們的內心是既溫暖又心虛啊~(好複雜的情緒)

一方面是每年的動物都是一個新的挑戰

無論是技術上或是造型上都必須不斷的修正與改進

今年的百步蛇在花紋的塗裝和旋轉關節就讓我們傷透了腦筋啊~~

最後，跟牛年一樣，我們又決定自己下海作後製了…

是的，為了美麗的漸層菱形紋我們這次又自己噴漆了(哭哭)

百步蛇頭部呈明顯的三角形，毒性相當強，身上美麗的花紋是排灣族常用的圖騰。百步蛇喜 歡在森林底層的枯葉忠捲曲不動，其身體的顏色正好與枯葉相似而成保護色，在排灣族神話 中屢見不鮮，是至高無上的守護神。更是台灣蛇類動物中珍貴的保育類動物。
With triangular-shaped head, the viper’s venom is extremely toxic. The beautiful patterns on its body are the most common totem used by Paiwan tribe. The viper prefers to stay still curled under the withered leaves in forest. The color of its body is so similar to the withered leaves serving as camouflage. The icon of the viper is frequently seen in the mythology of the Paiwan tribe, which is regarded as the supreme guardian.
【永 續】
我們不採用珍貴稀有樹種來進行商品的量產(例如：台灣檜木、台灣櫸等…)。而是採用品質 穩定、木紋細緻的「歐洲山毛櫸」。其木材源自栽種與伐木並進的永續商業林。以不破壞自 然生態資源與珍惜台灣本土動物為前提，於台灣限量生產。
【Sustainability】
We refuse to use precious and unique trees such as Taiwanese oak and Taiwanese beech for commercial production. Instead, we adopt the sustainable commercial forest “European beech” for its stable quality and delicate wood pattern. On the premises of keeping the environment intact, Mufun dedicates itself to the limited edition production of wooden figures in order to bring our attention to the precious Taiwanese endemic animals.

【安 全】
本產品全程使用安全環保漆料，並於表層使用Ultra-Fresh抗菌處理，能夠有效的抑制細菌生長，而特殊研發的專利木栓結構，能將磁鐵穩定的包覆在木頭內，讓動物關節能禁得起日積月累的不斷轉動與拆合。
*產品不僅通過歐盟CE認證，更榮獲台灣的金點設計標章認證。
【Security】
The product is processed with eco-friendly painting. The Ultra-Fresh antimicrobial is also applied on the surface in order to prohibit bacteria growth. The uniquely developed magnet joint covered with a wooden lid (under patent) ensures the joints resist from constant disassembling and turning movements.
*This product has not only been approved by CE Marking,but also received the Golden Pin Design Award.

堅持限量推出的傳統，每年度僅推出一款動物。我們在每一隻公仔的腹部皆有專屬雷射限量編號，並附上專屬編號的認證卡，讓公仔更具收藏的價值。
【Collection Value】
We insist on limited edition: one animal figure per year with a unique etched number on the belly of each animal figure. To assure the collection value, a certificate with each number will be accompanied with every animal figure.
【樂 趣】
「百步蛇木製公仔」結合了高難度的木環成型技術與矽膠關節及頭部的隱藏式磁鐵，讓公仔能靈活的變換姿態。繁複的曲面蛇紋，更全程以精細的手工噴漆製作而成。面帶微笑的嘴部笑容還可咬住名片或當作MEMO夾使用。讓一般人常常懼怕的蛇，透過溫潤可愛的木頭工藝，以全新的角度來呈現台灣珍貴的蛇類動物。
【Pure Delight】
Hundred-pace snakes are designed and produced with the tough circle- cutting skill by router, silicon joints, and hidden powerful magnets in the head, which helps the figures move in a varietportancey of positions and gestures. The delicate curving snake patterns are manufactured through precise hand-made spray-print. With our mild, adorable handicrafts, snakes, who are always horrifying and scary, are able to represent and profile the rare animal species in Taiwan in a brand new perspective.

【文 化】
透過台灣在地特色的動物為主軸，發展出一系列瀕臨絕種或不受重視的動物公仔，傳達生態保育的重要性。以跨國界、跨語言的動物主題，結合台灣精緻的木質工藝產業實力，行銷台灣優質木工藝文化。

Our production takes focus on the animals which represents Tauwan,developing a series of endangered or unvalved animal figures to convey the importance of environ-mental protection.With universal animals as our subject,we integrate with the exqui-site wood craft industry in Taiwan to let our consvmers enjoy the high quality of Taiwan.
